【Summary Description】The explosion-proof motor uses an explosion-proof enclosure to separate the electrical components that may produce sparks, arcs, and dangerous temperatures from the surrounding explosive gas mixture. However, this enclosure is not sealed, and the surrounding explosive gas mixture can enter the interior of the motor through the gaps at the joints of the enclosure.

The explosion-proof motor uses an explosion-proof shell to separate the electrical parts that may produce sparks, arcs, and dangerous temperatures from the surrounding explosive gas mixture. However, this shell is not sealed, and the surrounding explosive gas mixture can enter the motor through the gaps at the joints of the shell. An explosion may occur when it comes into contact with ignition sources such as sparks, arcs, or dangerously high temperatures inside the shell. At this time, the explosion-proof shell of the motor will not be damaged or deformed, and when the explosion flame or hot gas escapes through the joint gaps, it will not ignite the surrounding explosive gas mixture.

The main features are as follows:

(1) The relationship between power levels, installation dimensions, and speeds is consistent with DIN42673, while also considering the inheritance from the YB series and interchangeability with the Y2 series, necessary adjustments have been made to be more effective and applicable.

(2) The entire series adopts F-class insulation, with temperature rise assessed according to B-class standards.

(3) The noise limit is lower than that of the YB series, approaching the I-level noise of the YB series, and the vibration limit is comparable to that of the YB series.

(4) The protection level of the shell has been upgraded to IP55.

(5) The entire series uses low-noise deep groove ball bearings, and motors with a center height above 180mm are equipped with oil drainage devices.

(6) The motor heat sinks are available in two distributions: parallel horizontal distribution and radiation distribution, with parallel horizontal distribution being the main type.

(7) The main performance indicators have reached the excellent international level of the early 1990s.
