Development Trends of Explosion-Proof Motors (Mining Explosion-Proof Motors)
【Summary Description】Developing high-power motors: The maximum installed capacity of coal mining machines in the world has exceeded 1200 kW, with the driving motor power reaching 600 kW. The maximum installed capacity of the scraper conveyor in the corresponding mining area has exceeded 1500 kW, with the driving motor power reaching 725 kW. In China, the maximum power of the driving motor for coal mining machines is 400 kW, and the maximum power of the driving motor for scraper conveyors is 315 kW.
(1) Develop high-power motors: The maximum installed capacity of coal mining machines in the world has exceeded 1200 kW, with the driving motor power reaching 600 kW; the maximum installed capacity of the corresponding scraper conveyor in the working face has exceeded 1500 kW, with the driving motor power reaching 725 kW. The maximum power of domestic coal mining machine driving motors is 400 kW, and the maximum power of scraper conveyor driving motors is 315 kW.
(2) Develop mining motors with voltage levels of 3.3 kV, 6 kV, and 10 kV: This is due to the elongation of the mining area after the popularization of fully mechanized coal mining units, leading to increased voltage drop, while the use of high-power motors also requires an increase in voltage level.
(3) Develop mining dual-speed motors: In order to adapt to the operational needs of low-speed starting and high-speed operation of coal mine conveyors, foreign mining scraper conveyors are all driven by dual-speed motors. The power range, performance indicators, and the performance of supporting control switches of domestic mining dual-speed motors have certain gaps compared to foreign excellent levels.
(4) Improve the reliability of mining motors: The working conditions of mining explosion-proof motors are poor, with frequent large-load starts, significant load changes, large voltage fluctuations, high ambient temperatures, and certain corrosive conditions, all of which affect the reliability and lifespan of the motors.
(5) Accelerate the updating and replacement of mining explosion-proof motors.
(6) Standardize the standards for mining explosion-proof motors.
